Like the Humane Society of the United States, we share the goal
of ending unnecessary euthanasia in shelters everywhere. MCHA
works tirelessly to prevent pet homelessness, promote spay/neuter education, and encourage adoption from shelters and rescue
groups. When the decision is made to perform euthanasia, it must be performed with skill and compassion.
This workshop will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform humane euthanasia. Workshop topics include: safety, humane handling, anesthetics, euthanasia drugs, animal anatomy, proper technique, and much more.
