E. Susan Bartlett Emergency Housing Center

The E. Susan Bartlett Emergency Housing Center houses pets for owners who find themselves in need of emergency housing due to domestic violence, relocation, homelessness, inclement weather, or health-related stays. The Emergency Housing Center works in partnership with local law enforcement agencies, domestic violence shelters, social workers, and medical facilities.

For organizations or social services with a client who needs emergency housing for a pet, email us.

In November 2020, MCHA was awarded a $20,000 grant from RedRover to support increased security measures and facility improvements for the E. Susan Bartlett Emergency Housing Center.
