"Kindred Spirits," a new hour-long public radio series about the
animal-human connection, is being developed here in Bloomington.
It is a mixture of music, messages from listeners, hosted segments with
Susan Chernak McElroy (author of the NY Times bestseller "Animals as
Teachers and Healers"), profiles of animal sanctuaries, reviews of books, and
many surprises.
Phoned-in messages from listeners are a key ingredient of the show, and
will be mixed in throughout each episode.
If you have a successful adoption story, or any story that has to do with
an experience with animals or nature, please phone it in to the Kindred
Spirits message line:
(812) 333-8284
|
It can be anything from a touching, strange or funny story, a poem, a
tribute to animal companions past or present, an animal behavior mystery, thoughts about
our connections with nature, or anything else related.
Please distribute this information and phone number to anyone who might
be receptive to it!
The pilot episode of Kindred Spirits is available here in MP3 format
for downloading. The show has been divided into two segments for convenience.
