Beat the Heat: Spay Day USA

This years Spay Day event, Beat the Heat was a huge success selling out with 375 $5 vouchers issued to Monroe County residents to have their pets spayed/neutered. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped hang door hangers promoting spay/neuter and Spay Day and to those that volunteered for the Spay Day event itself. 375 animals will now not contribute to the pet overpopulation crisis and will stop the flow of puppies and kittens to the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter this spring.
