GENERAL SHELTER SUPPLIES

• Unscented clay cat litter (non-clumping only, please!)
• Towels and blankets for bedding
• Paper Towels
• Cotton balls
• Liquid bleach
• Kuranda Chewproof Dog Beds (Call 333.MCHA for more info)

SHELTER FOOD

• Purina or better- dry puppy/kitten/adult dog/adult cat food (No food with dyes please!)
• Treats for cats and dogs

TOYS FOR SHELTER ANIMALS

• Nyla brand dog toys
• Hard plastic cat toys
• Kongs for dogs
• Dried catnip

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter during regular business hours:     12-7p.m. T/F 12-5p.m. M/W/Th/S

Display a Donation Can

A great way of supporting the MCHA and its work is to display one of our donation cans in your place of business. One of our volunteers will check and empty the can on a regular basis. Call 335.9453 or e-mail educate@bluemarble.net for more information.

Sponsor or Display Adoptable Posters

You can help us help the animals by sponsoring our posters of adoptable animals. Each week the MCHA produces photos of adoptable animals available at the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter. These photos are distributed throughout our community at over 100 locations. These posters truly help saves lives by showcasing animals in need of good, lifelong homes.

We need your help to continue this important undertaking. When you sponsor a week's worth of posters, we can feature your business logo, address, phone, hours, etc., on the posters and on our website. The posters are viewed by thousands of residents weekly. Cost of sponsorship is just a dollar a poster. Sponsor several or sponsor all 100 for $100.

Hold a Benefit

Many talented folks have held benefits for the MCHA and the City of Bloomington Animals Shelter. Put your talents to work and help the animals! Past benefits have included music events, talent shows at local schools, pet food and supply drives, etc.

Wedding Favors

Instead of favors for your wedding guests, make a donation to the MCHA in their names and inhonor of your wedding.

Birthday Party

Donation to the animals instead of presents!
